Chief Marketing Officer

Johanna Flower is a seasoned marketing executive and security industry veteran with extensive global business experience. Johanna is currently the Chief Marketing Officer for CrowdStrike, responsible for directing the brand, messaging go-to-market strategies, demand generation and field sales support.

Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Johanna held numerous executive level positions at publicly traded cyber security firm Websense Inc., including: Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of SMB sales and Vice President of International Marketing and Channel Programs. While at Websense, her vision helped shape the firm’s marketing and go-to-market strategies, resulting in the company gaining the largest world-wide market share, simultaneously expanding revenues from $30m to over $360m. Johanna was part of the core group involved in the company’s M&A activity, including the sale to Vista Equity Partners in 2013 for $1bn, taking the company private.

Earlier in her career, Johanna held marketing management positions at European Internet security distributor Wick Hill and at Global Secure Systems. Johanna holds a BA in Business Administration from Brighton University, United Kingdom.
