Chief Marketing Officer
Johanna Flower serves as CrowdStrike’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – leading all elements of global Marketing at CrowdStrike including directing the brand, go-to-market strategies, demand generation, digital marketing, corporate communications, analyst relations, customer programs, and field sales support. She develops the global marketing strategy in close coordination with Sales and Channel, Engineering, and Product Management to foster business growth, high customer retention rates, and deep alignment cross CrowdStrike’s global operations.
Flower oversees an award-winning team opening new markets, reaching new customers, and introducing new products and services across the globe. She combines the marketing team’s creativity with data-driven analytics to deliver the compelling story of CrowdStrike creating next-generation endpoint protection with its technology leadership, customer focus, and workplace culture of innovation and collaboration. She has guided the branding of CrowdStrike from an agile startup to an industry leader in cloud-native endpoint protection.
Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Flower held the role of SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Websense, Inc. (now Forcepoint LLC). While at Websense, her vision helped shape the firm’s marketing and go-to-market strategies, resulting in the company gaining the largest world-wide market share in web security, simultaneously expanding revenues from $30m to over $360m.
