CrowdStrike to Participate in Four Speaking Engagements at Black Hat USA 2015

Company experts and technical leaders will present practical use cases and technical research to drive forward innovative security approaches and best practices in next-generation endpoint protection

Black Hat Training: Intelligence-driven Security

August 1st – August 2nd and August 3rd – August 4th

Adam Meyers, CrowdStrike’s VP of Intelligence, will conduct two training sessions on intelligence-driven security. The class will educate cyber defenders on how to incorporate intelligence practices into their daily operations to gain a 50,000-foot view of their security posture and understand the overall threat vector.

GameOver Zeus: Bad Guys and Backends, presented by Tillmann Werner, Elliott Peterson, and Michael Sandee

Gameover Zeus is one of the most complex and successful law enforcement operations against cyber crime to date. Tillmann Werner, Director of Technical Analysis at CrowdStrike Intelligence, along with Elliott Peterson, FBI, and Michael Sandee, FOX-IT will highlight the extensive industry and government partnerships that were crucial to the operation’s success. The session will also cover some of the methods used by private industry and law enforcement personnel to track and identify those responsible for the malware.
