CrowdStrike Secures Prominent Placement on the 2016 Inc. 500|5000 List with More than 2,400 Percent Growth Over Three Years

Demand for CrowdStrike’s Falcon endpoint protection platform leads to record business growth and global expansion

Irvine, CA — August 17, 2016 – CrowdStrike, the leader in cloud-delivered next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence and response services, today announced that the company ranked # 144 on Inc. magazine’s prestigious 2016 ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

As the leader in endpoint protection, CrowdStrike is the only company to unify next-generation antivirus and endpoint detection and response (EDR) into a single agent backed by 24/7 proactive threat hunting — all delivered via the cloud. With advanced detection, prevention, and response features, the Falcon endpoint protection platform offers unrivaled capability to stop all types of attacks, including malware and malware-free intrusions.

“From day one, CrowdStrike’s innovative cloud-first approach was a disruptor for the security industry and has set the standard for endpoint protection,” said George Kurtz, CrowdStrike’s co-founder and chief executive officer. “There is a rigorous selection process for the Inc. 500, and we are proud that we are the only endpoint security company listed. Capitalizing on explosive growth, this placement on Inc. Magazine’s prestigious ranking is another great milestone for our company, the technology we’ve built, and the incredible team at CrowdStrike.”

The 2016 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 23) is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433%.The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”
