CrowdStrike Named the Only Leader in GigaOm Radar for SaaS Security Posture Management

CrowdStrike is recognized as the most innovative and complete platform and earns the highest scores across Key Features and Business Criteria in the GigaOm Radar Report for SSPM.

CrowdStrike is excited to be the only vendor named a Leader and Outperformer in the 2025 GigaOm Radar Report for SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM). The report recognizes CrowdStrike as the most innovative and complete Platform Play, demonstrating our leadership in protecting identities and SaaS environments as the enterprise attack surface evolves.

Adversaries rely on trusted identities to infiltrate organizations undetected, and they’re setting their sights on SaaS applications. The rapid, widespread adoption of SaaS solutions across businesses has driven a proliferation of identities, configurations, and data flows for IT and security teams to protect. Most SaaS applications have extensive configuration options, and one misconfiguration could give an adversary an opportunity for infiltration and lateral movement. As SaaS applications and AI agents spread throughout business environments, they expand the attack surface and increase the number of privileged identities adversaries can target.

CrowdStrike’s unified approach to SaaS security helps organizations face these challenges. The AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon® platform delivers privileged access management, real-time threat detection and response, and SaaS security so teams can detect and prevent identity-based threats, misconfigurations, and unauthorized access across SaaS environments. CrowdStrike Falcon® Shield extends these capabilities to SaaS applications to provide continuous visibility, policy enforcement, and automated response.

GigaOm’s recognition underscores the competitive advantage of CrowdStrike’s unified approach to SaaS security and our ability to stop breaches, prevent cross-domain threats, and protect every human, non-human, and AI agent identity.

“CrowdStrike's single-platform architecture is comprehensive, consolidating SSPM, SaaS DLP, cloud security, identity security, and endpoint protection into a single console, enabling automated, real-time policy responses to swiftly stop attacks,” the report states.

Falcon Shield Leads the Pack

CrowdStrike earned the highest scores among all vendors in Key Features and Business Criteria. These include perfect 5/5 ratings in SaaS Support, Policy Management, Third-Party Risk Assessment, Identity Threat Detection and Response, Enterprise Security Infrastructure Integration, Scalability, Cost, and Ecosystem.

GigaOm Radar for SaaS Security Posture Management

The GigaOm Radar for SSPM highlights several capabilities driving Falcon Shield’s leadership, such as complete SaaS visibility. GigaOm emphasizes Falcon Shield’s support of over 175 prebuilt integrations, which enable continuous application discovery, integration mapping, and configuration monitoring across business-critical platforms. It also provides visibility into third-party risk and non-human identities: GigaOm highlights Falcon Shield’s ability to identify users with authorized third-party connections, evaluate permissions, and identify risks linked to human and non-human identities.

When risks are identified, Falcon Shield provides real-time automated policy responses through CrowdStrike Falcon® Fusion SOAR. This may include actions like disabling users or revoking OAuth application access to contain threats before they escalate.

GigaOm also highlights CrowdStrike’s innovation in cybersecurity for the AI era with “GenAI tools that can monitor SaaS applications, enforce standards, manage AI settings to prevent data leakage, and identify shadow AI apps.” CrowdStrike delivers comprehensive protection for GenAI, AI agents, and embedded AI tools across SaaS environments, and is enhancing these capabilities through Charlotte AI.

One Unified Platform for SaaS Security

The unified nature of the Falcon platform empowers organizations to correlate threats across SaaS applications, endpoints, and identities to achieve full visibility into their security posture. As the enterprise attack surface evolves, this allows IT and security teams to identify and mitigate threats with speed and precision.

Falcon platform modules work together to create a stronger defense. Falcon Shield delivers complete SaaS security posture management, protecting identities, configurations, and data across SaaS applications. Combined with CrowdStrike Falcon® Identity Protection and CrowdStrike Falcon® Cloud Security, CrowdStrike secures every human and non-human identity across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.

“CrowdStrike’s cloud-native security platform employs an adversarial approach, consolidating telemetry from various security domains to deliver real-time threat correlation,” GigaOm writes in its report. “It provides customers with complete visibility into attack paths across the adversary toolkit, enabling organizations to detect, prevent, and respond to threats before they escalate.”

And we continue to innovate. GigaOm highlights the rapid integration of Adaptive Shield, acquired by CrowdStrike in 2024, into the Falcon platform and notes our “aggressive roadmap” for continued development.
