CrowdStrike Uses Unique Platform to Extend Its Technology Ecosystem and Launches New Elevate Partner Program

Appoints Upesh Patel as vice president, Business and Corporate Development

Irvine, CA – February 29, 2016 – CrowdStrike Inc., a leader in cloud-delivered next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence and response services, announced today that it is leveraging the unique cloud-based integration capabilities of the CrowdStrike Falcon®™ Platform to provide customers and partners:

  • Unprecedented visibility to all endpoints in their environment
  • Contextual information that leverages CrowdStrike’s Threat Graph™ technology allowing customers and partners the ability to interact and explore endpoint activities and harness the collective wisdom of their data in Falcon Cloud
  • Control capabilities to automate and orchestrate remediation and other time-consuming activities

The CrowdStrike Elevate Partner Program will provide these capabilities to technology partners, solution providers, system integrators and managed service providers that deliver bespoke solutions to customers.

“An open platform is a foundational component to help customers prevent breaches,” said George Kurtz, chief executive officer, CrowdStrike.  “The Falcon platform combined with our partner ecosystem, allows customers to leverage the security investments they have already made and work with solution providers they are already familiar with. Our cloud-based model and open APIs powered by our Threat Graph technology are key differentiators for partners and customers allowing frictionless adoption and integration of our solutions across the enterprise.”

The CrowdStrike Elevate Partner Program will be led by Upesh Patel, recently named as vice president of Business and Corporate Development. Patel brings more than twenty years of business and technology experience to CrowdStrike, having led business development efforts at leading security companies such as Guardium and Trusteer (now both part of IBM Security). Specifically, he was also one of the original pioneers of the OPSEC program at Check Point Software. He joins CrowdStrike from Blue Coat Systems, where he was vice president of business development.

“In today’s environment, speed means everything for customers,” said Patel. “Speed to integrate, roll out, and manage a solution, along with the rapid ability to react, anticipate and stop threats.  All of this can only be achieved via a SaaS-based security platform that has open APIs and supports customers’ desire to weave a next-generation endpoint solution into the fabric of their existing workflows. In addition, our unique technology and business model makes CrowdStrike a natural fit for the entire partner ecosystem allowing them to add additional value to customer environments.”
