Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR customers are eligible for the Falcon Complete Warranty. The warranty includes two tiers:
- Customers with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) can receive coverage up to $1 million.
- Customers with EDR and CrowdStrike Falcon® Identity Threat Protection can receive up to $2 million.
The amount is calculated at $2,000 per affected endpoint, up to the tier’s maximum limit.
The warranty specifically covers ransomware incidents for customers with an active Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR subscription configured as required per our Warranty terms and conditions.
Yes, the Falcon Complete Warranty is automatically included with an active Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR subscription — no separate sign-up or annual agreement required.
The warranty starts on the Warranty Effective Date and stays active for as long as your Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR subscription and Customer Agreement are active. If your subscription continues or renews without a break, the warranty continues as well, subject to the applicable coverage limits.
Partners who are aligned to the Falcon Complete for Service Provider program are eligible as described in section 8.5 of the warranty document.
For reseller partners, the Falcon Complete Warranty is included as part of the standard Falcon Complete bundle. Reseller partners offer the warranty to their customers by default in available regions.
No. The terms and conditions are standardized and cannot be negotiated. Coverage is automatically included for all eligible Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR customers, so there’s no separate agreement or renewal process required.
No. The warranty is only available to customers with an active Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR subscription. It cannot be purchased separately.
No. The warranty does not cover pre-existing or ongoing incidents at the time of purchase. Coverage only applies to ransomware events that occur after the Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR service is active and all eligibility requirements are met.
Yes. To qualify for the warranty, protected endpoints must run supported Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems configured with Falcon Complete’s recommended Measured Security Posture (or higher) at all times. Customers must also run supported Falcon Sensor versions (current or up to two prior), enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on internet-facing services, and ensure the Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR service is deployed with the required configurations.
This warranty does not apply in any country or jurisdiction where it is considered an insurance contract.
