CrowdStrike Launches Business Vertical Offerings as Part of its Intelligence Exchange Program
CrowdStrike and its partners to deliver industry-specific package options to enhance access to critical cybersecurity intelligence
Irvine, CA – April 20, 2015 – CrowdStrike Inc., a leading provider of next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and 24×7 monitoring and incident response services, today announced the availability of CrowdStrike Intelligence Exchange (CSIX) for industry verticals. Under the CSIX initiative, partners and end-users are able to take advantage of the full spectrum of intelligence capabilities delivered by CrowdStrike Falcon Intelligence to gain deep insight into adversaries’ identity, motives, and techniques.
“CSIX is an industry-leading initiative that enables our partners and end-users to gain access to unparalleled threat intelligence and receive critical context about threats in order to prioritize their responses,” said Adam Meyers, vice president of CrowdStrike Intelligence. “We are making this intelligence available through a targeted business vertical offering, creating an entry-level tier for partners and end-users.”
This initiative provides participating partners with immediate access to contextual data and adversary profiles, detailing behavioral patterns, exploits used, and other trend data. As a result, organizations can respond to targeted attacks effectively before adversaries cause large-scale damage. With more than ten partners, the CSIX program is one of the most impactful threat intelligence information sharing initiatives in the security industry. This program is now available with package options pertaining to specific targeted business verticals such as healthcare, financial services, energy, telecom and others.
CrowdStrike and its partners are dedicated to strategic intelligence sharing to arm end-users with a powerful new tool in their security arsenal that helps them make their defenses faster, smarter, and more agile. One example of this is our partnership with ThreatStream to power their Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST) Cyber Threat eXchange (CTX). It enables us to dramatically accelerate the detection of and response to cyber threats targeted at the healthcare industry.
“Our customers need access to rich intelligence that gives them distinct and targeted data to inform response strategies that thwart advanced attacks effectively. Through the CSIX program, we can offer real enablement tools that help the organizations we serve make meaningful strides in reducing their exposure to targeted intrusions and gain higher returns from their investments in security solutions,” said Colby DeRodeff, chief strategy officer at ThreatStream.
