Kyle Butler
Senior Cloud Tech Strategy Manager, CrowdStrike
Kyle Butler currently serves as a Senior Technical Strategy Manager within CrowdStrike's Office of the CTO, focusing on strategy for proactive cloud security initiatives in Falcon Cloud Security (FCS). Prior to being at CrowdStrike, he spent four years as a Senior Solutions Architect for Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks, where he provided extensive expertise in cloud security platforms and DevSecOps practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, working with F500 customers.
During his tenure at Palo Alto Networks, he developed and maintained a number of repositories in the official Palo Alto Networks GitHub Org, and collaborated extensively with AWS alliance teams, channel partners including Optiv, Presidio, and GuidePoint, and the HashiCorp product team to drive cloud security integrations and solutions. Kyle also contributed to Palo Alto Networks' certification program development and was a frequent presenter at both internal and external industry events. He authored multiple technical blogs and whitepapers covering topics from access key rotation to securing golden images at build time.
Prior to his focus on cloud security, Kyle was a Professional Services Engineer on the innovation team at Spirion. In this role, he was a co-inventor on a patent leveraging machine learning and graph technologies for GDPR and CCPA compliance, specifically employing language models to identify human names in documents.
