Bartley Richardson serves as Chief AI and Autonomous Systems Officer at CrowdStrike, where he leads the company's AI strategy, advancing its structural data advantage into more autonomous, deterministic security outcomes on the path to Security AGI. He drives innovation across Charlotte AI, the agentic SOC, and AI Detection and Response (AIDR), extending CrowdStrike's leadership in AI-native cybersecurity.
Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Dr. Richardson served as Senior Director of Engineering at NVIDIA, where he led engineering for agentic AI, cybersecurity AI, and AI infrastructure, focused on solving large-scale data challenges and transforming data into AI-driven security outcomes. He led the development of foundational technologies for AI agents, including NVIDIA's NeMo Agent Toolkit, the AI-Q research assistant, and the Morpheus cybersecurity library, enabling organizations to operationalize AI at scale. Earlier in his career, he served as a technical lead on multiple DARPA research projects.
He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on artificial intelligence.
