A proven, customer-focused leader with 25 years experience driving high-performance sales organizations for some of the world’s leading security, cloud and IT brands, Shirk joined CrowdStrike in 2023. Prior to CrowdStrike, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Fastly (NYSE: FSLY) where he led the edge cloud platform leader’s global sales and customer relationship strategies. Prior to Fastly, Shirk was CRO at Rubrik, the cloud data security company, running worldwide sales, and was previously Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager, Americas at VMware, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Veritas Technologies, and SVP, North America at Symantec.
