The AgentWorks Hackathon
Official Rules
These Official Rules govern the AgentWorks Hackathon (the "AgentWorks Hackathon") administered by CrowdStrike, Inc. ("CrowdStrike," "we," "us," or "our"). By registering for or submitting an entry to the Hackathon, each participant ("you" or "Participant") agrees to (a) be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of CrowdStrike, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Hackathon and (b) that you are an authorized agent of their company with authority to grant the rights provided herein.
1. Description of the AgentWorks Hackathon
This hackathon is a virtual competition in which eligible participants design and build custom artificial intelligence agents using CrowdStrike Charlotte AI AgentWorks ("AgentWorks") and submit those agents for evaluation. The hackathon challenge is open-ended: there are no assigned problem statements or structured challenges. Participants select the problem their agent addresses and design the agent accordingly. As this requires access to Charlotte AI, this is limited to existing Crowdstrike customers only.
The Hackathon is conducted virtually. Attendance at Fal.Con EU 2026 or any other CrowdStrike event is not required to enter, participate, or be selected as a winner.
2. Duration of the AgentWorks Hackathon
All dates and times are subject to change at CrowdStrike's discretion. Entries submitted before the opening or after the closing of the Submission Period will not be eligible.
Submission Period Opens: September 17, 2026 at 12:00am PT
Submission Period Closes: October 20, 2026 at 12:00am PT
Judging and Review: On or during October 20–30, 2026
Winner Notification and Announcement: If selected as first-place winners or runner-up winners, direct email communications will be delivered using contact details provided during registration. Winners will also be announced during Fal.Con EU 2026 on-site and virtual programming.
3. Eligibility
The Hackathon is open only to individuals who meet all of the following requirements:

b. Charlotte AI Access. Participants must have access to Charlotte AI, obtained either through: an existing Charlotte AI license; or activation of complimentary Charlotte AI access through the Charlotte AI free-credit promotion (described in Section 4).
c. Agent Builder Role. To build agents in AgentWorks, Participants must have the Charlotte AI Agent Builder role assigned within their organization's Falcon environment. This must be granted by users with the Falcon administrator role.
d. Age and Authority. Participants must be of the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence and authorized by their employer to participate.
e. Additional. By participating in the Contest, you confirm that you can accept the prize and agree that it in no way represents an inducement or a bribe. Employees of CrowdStrike, its affiliates, and the Hackathon judges' organizations, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to win prizes.
4. Charlotte AI Access and Credits

b. Promotion Eligibility. The Charlotte AI free-credit promotion (“Charlotte Agentic SOAR Essentials”) is available only to customers that have licensed at least one of the following modules: Falcon Insight XDR, Falcon Cloud Security, Falcon Exposure Management, Falcon Next-Gen SIEM, Falcon Adversary Intelligence Premium, or Falcon for IT.
c. Credit Allotment. Activation of the promotion provides 50 Charlotte AI credits, which renew monthly, subject to the terms of the promotion.
d. Requesting Additional Credits. Participants who require credits beyond their existing licensed or promotional allotment may request a one-time complimentary credit grant of 500 credits for the AgentWorks Hackathon by contacting their CrowdStrike account team. Additional credit grants are provided at CrowdStrike's discretion and are subject to availability and applicable terms.
e. Use of Credits. Participants may use existing paid credits, promotional credits, or approved one-time grants. Credits are governed by the applicable Charlotte AI terms and are subject to normal consumption during agent building and testing.
5. Registration and Submission Process
a. Registration. To participate, a Participant must complete the AgentWorks Hackathon registration form and provide the required information (first name, last name, work email, and company name). Registration information is used solely to communicate hackathon updates, generate a profile in the submission portal, and coordinate resources, winner announcement and notification and coordinate prize delivery.
By entering, you grant CrowdStrike the right to use, reproduce, and publicize your submission — including your name, your organization's name, and any details it contains — in connection with the hackathon and related promotion as detailed in Section 11.b. Only submit information you have the right to share and are comfortable seeing used publicly. Do not include confidential or proprietary information, personal data (PII), credentials or secrets, or real customer/environment data. Sanitize or use representative examples where needed.
b. Building an Agent. Participants build one or more agents in Charlotte AI AgentWorks. Participants may build as many agents, and iterate through as many versions, as they choose.
c. Submitting an Agent. Participants submit agents through the submission portal by completing the agent submission form (one per agent). Each submission requires responses describing the agent, including its name, function, output type, autonomy level, problem addressed, design and operation, data sources, tools, novelty, and development process. Participants may optionally provide supporting screenshots or brief demos.
d. Multiple Submissions. There is no limit on the number of agents a Participant may submit. Each agent must be submitted as a separate entry and will be evaluated independently.
e. Editing Submissions. Participants may edit any submission at any time until the Submission Period closes on October 20, 2026. No changes may be made after that date.
f. Confirmation. Upon submission, Participants will receive a confirmation email containing their submission details. Participants who do not receive a confirmation email should check their spam folder.
g. Previously Built Agents. Agents previously built on AgentWorks are eligible for submission, provided all other requirements are met.
6. Submission Content Requirements and Restrictions
a. Sensitive Content. Participants must not disclose sensitive environment details, customer data, proprietary information, personally identifiable information, internal system names, credentials, or any confidential data in any part of a submission, including written responses, screenshots, or other uploaded materials. Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their submissions contain no such information, and CrowdStrike bears no responsibility for content Participants choose to include.
b. Original Work. Submissions must be the Participant's own work and must not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
c. Compliance. Submissions must comply with all applicable laws, the Falcon platform terms of use, and any applicable CrowdStrike agreements governing the Participant's organization.
d. Responsibility. Participants are solely responsible for the content of their submissions and for ensuring that their participation complies with their organization's internal policies.
CrowdStrike reserves the right to disqualify any submission that violates these Official Rules, contains prohibited content, or is otherwise deemed inappropriate, in CrowdStrike's sole discretion
7. Judging and Evaluation
a. Judging Panel.
Initial Screening. All eligible submissions will first be reviewed by a screening team composed of CrowdStrike technical marketing, product marketing, product management, and sales engineering representatives. This screening team evaluates submissions against the criteria described in Section 7(b) to identify a group of finalists to advance to final judging.
Final Judging Panel. Finalist submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges composed of representatives from CrowdStrike and NVIDIA, who will select the first-place and runner-up winners. To facilitate review, judges will evaluate a summarized version of each finalist submission prepared by CrowdStrike.
b. Evaluation Criteria. At each stage, submissions will be evaluated against the following four criteria:
Problem-solving capability – whether the agent solves a real, meaningful problem;
Agent design and scope – whether the agent is thoughtfully built and appropriately scoped for its task;
Creativity and innovation – whether the agent does something new, innovative, or unexpected; and
Outcomes and workflow integration – whether the agent produces meaningful results and integrates into the Participant's workflows.
c. Discretion of Judges. The screening team judges will apply the criteria in their reasonable discretion. All judging decisions are final and binding. In the event of a tie or other circumstance requiring resolution, CrowdStrike reserves the right to determine the outcome in its sole discretion.
