How Betta Scaled Its Cybersecurity Business with Falcon Complete for Service Providers

Betta is a Brazil-based managed service provider that didn’t start as a cybersecurity company. Like many MSPs in the region, it expanded into security over time. As demand picked up, so did expectations. Customers wanted fewer blind spots in their environments, faster response to security incidents, and proof they were protected.

That shift forced a decision: Betta could try to build these capabilities in-house, or it could find a different way to scale without breaking the business.

“Our model wasn’t to send customers more alerts,” said Caio Abade, Security Director at Betta. “It was to protect their environment and respond efficiently when something happened.”

Betta chose to build its security model around CrowdStrike Falcon® Complete for Service Providers. The impact was immediate and measurable. The company doubled its cybersecurity customer base from around 50 to 100 organizations. Revenue doubled as well. Then, in 2025, growth accelerated after Betta expanded its services beyond endpoint security to include identity, cloud, and next-gen SIEM.

That growth didn’t come from hiring a massive team or stitching together more tools. It came from changing how the business operated.

A Smarter Way to Scale a Security Business

Betta’s challenge wasn’t unique; scaling a security practice is hard anywhere. Skilled analysts are expensive and hard to retain, and running a 24/7 SOC introduces real cost and complexity. Betta tried to build one internally and quickly hit those limits.

Falcon Complete gave Betta a different path. Instead of building a large internal SOC, Betta plugged into CrowdStrike’s expertise. The Falcon Complete team handles detection and response, while Betta focuses on the customer relationship, platform health, and making sure clients gain value from what they’ve bought. Its services are delivered in Portuguese and English to meet local needs.

“Falcon Complete became a true extension of our operation,” Abade said. “It gave us the confidence to grow.”

That model scales in a way traditional approaches cannot. Abade estimates Betta would have needed to triple its team to deliver the same level of service without Falcon Complete. In practical terms, that wasn’t a viable option.

Growing Beyond Endpoint

Betta started with managed endpoint detection and response (MDR), but the real growth came when it expanded into managed identity, cloud, and SIEM. Identity security, in particular, opened customers’ eyes. Many didn’t realize how exposed they were until Betta turned on CrowdStrike Falcon® Identity Threat Protection. Suddenly, they could see stale accounts, weak passwords, and risky behavior that had been sitting unnoticed.

With this visibility, customer conversations shifted from questioning the need for security to understanding their risk. SIEM followed a similar pattern. Customers often had tools in place, but they weren’t using them effectively. Logs were stored but not operationalized, and investigations were slow or incomplete. With managed CrowdStrike Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM, Betta reframed SIEM as an active capability with fast search, automated workflows, and meaningful response.

“We give them visibility they’ve never had … and we show them how to use it,” Abade said.

This approach also drove expansion within accounts. Around 70% of Betta’s customers now use at least two CrowdStrike modules, most commonly for endpoint and identity security. Each additional capability strengthens the service and increases the overall value delivered to the customer.

One Platform, Fewer Headaches

Many customers come to Betta with a patchwork of tools: multiple consoles, disconnected data, and teams trying to piece everything together. Betta uses the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform to simplify their environments. With a single unified platform, there is one place to see what’s happening and one place to act, which gives customers clarity and control.

That simplicity benefits Betta as well. The team spends less time managing tools and more time focusing on outcomes. CrowdStrike® Charlotte AI adds another layer of efficiency behind the scenes by helping automate workflows, streamline investigations, and reduce manual triage. It allows Betta to move faster without adding operational overhead.

The platform approach also makes the sales motion more natural. Instead of pushing point solutions, Betta walks customers through a progression. They start with endpoint and expand over time into identity, cloud, and SIEM — all managed by Falcon Complete.

CrowdStrike Falcon® Flex plays an important role here. Customers don’t have to commit to all of the modules upfront. They can adopt new capabilities as they’re ready, which aligns better with budget realities in the region and helps Betta land and expand more effectively.

A Blueprint for MSPs in Latin America

Betta has built a model other MSPs in Latin America can follow. The region has its own challenges, including tight budgets, varying levels of security maturity, and a strong need for local language support. Customers want guidance as much as technology.

Betta sits at that intersection. It understands the regional landscape, while CrowdStrike provides the depth and expertise behind the scenes. Now, Betta is extending that model by working with smaller MSPs and giving them access to its security operations. Instead of building everything themselves, those providers can plug into Betta’s model and deliver stronger services to their own customers.

“Connect to us,” Abade said. “We operate the security. You keep your customers.”

It’s a simple idea, but it scales. For MSPs looking to grow their cybersecurity business, the takeaway is clear. They don’t need to build everything themselves. With the right foundation, they can scale faster, deliver better outcomes, and compete at a higher level. For Betta, that foundation is Falcon Complete for Service Providers.
